Welcoming all in a Christ-Centered Community All members are ministers

Sunday's Zoom Service

We are grateful that we can continue to support the church with our financial gifts through e-giving.  The Moravian Ministries Foundation has set up a giving portal and you can make a contribution directly from our webpage.  Contributions may be made from a checking account or by credit card.  If you have any questions please contact the church office and we will connect you with our Treasurer or President of Trustees to help you navigate the portal.  Offerings may also be mailed to the church at 228 E Washington Street, Riverside NJ, 08075.

Let’s spread some love and
encouragement! How?

Do you like to paint rocks? Do you like rock gardens?
Do you feel we need to get some positive vibes in our
community? Well, have we got the place for you to
express words of encouragement to our community by
helping us build a “Garden of Hope”. We invite
everyone to start looking for that special rock/stone of
any size and get to work! You will find tons of ideas on
line giving you instructions on how to prepare your rock
(if needed), type of paint, etc. We suggest you use
Acrylic paint and a spray to seal to preserve your work.
Get your family involved, especially the kids. They
always have great ideas. You can write something or
draw something to give hope and encouragement to
everyone. We are using the empty garden bed along the
outside of Hahle Hall, First Moravian Church. You can
decorate stepping stone (kits are available at 5 Below).
We will start “planting the stones” August 1. Feel free
to bring your stone/rock and place in the garden.
Message Colleen Lightfoot or Elsa Lucas (on Face
Book) or give us a call if you have any questions or
need paint, brushes, etc. to get started.

"I entreat masters to live a good life and faithfully to instruct their scholars, especially that they may love God and learn to give themselves to knowledge in order to promote [God's] honour, the welfare of the state, and their own salvation, but not for the sake of avarice or the praise of man."
