Education at First Moravian

Sunday School

Both children and adults meet Sunday mornings before our worship time. Class begins at approximately 9:30 AM and ends at approximately 10:30. This year, our Sunday School children, youth, and adults are focusing on what it means to be followers of Jesus:  people who know and love God, interpret God's word, belong to God's gathered community, and share God's good news.

Adult Education

In the midst of our busy lives, it is often difficult to have real conversation.  Our daily interactions, though many, are often little more than pleasantries. We believe that becoming a part of a small group can provide the opportunity to share thoughts and feelings at a deeper, more meaningful level, in the context of our Christian love for one another.

• A new Adult Forum series will be offered this fall, beginning with a Personal Finance Workshop, which will be held on three Tuesday evenings:  October 30, November 6 and November 20.  This forum will be focused on financial basic, budgeting and investing for the future

• Our Movie Discussion Group meets each month on the last Friday evening of the month

• Two other small groups are in the process of formation.  If you would like to participate or have ideas for a small group, please contact the church office.

New Member Classes

Inquirer’s classes for new members meet periodically.  Please contact the Pastor if you are interested.
